Camp Dirty Knees 2026
June 2 - 4
9:00-Noon
Camp Dirty Knees will take place at the Carroll County Ag Center, located at 900 Newnan Rd, Carrollton, on June 2nd, 3rd, and 4th, from 9:00 AM to Noon each day. This event is open to boys and girls aged 7-12, with a fee of $30 for each child enrolled, payable with the enrollment packet.
Every child will receive a t-shirt and cap as part of the program, along with several projects to take home. Each morning will feature a guest speaker who will kick off the day with an engaging presentation designed to encourage questions and stimulate curiosity.
The enrollment process is simple if your child is already a member of Carroll County 4-H for the current calendar year as we should already have all of your 4-H forms . If they are not yet a member, you will need to fill out the 4-H Application, Code of Conduct, and Medical Form that will be sent to you via email. These forms must be up to date for your child to attend camp. All activities for children organized by the Carroll County Master Gardeners are incorporated into the UGA 4-H program.
When registering online, payment must be made online (You will receive a payment link immediately after clicking submit on the application) . Alternatively, you can visit the Carroll County Ag Center to complete the forms and pay with cash or check (We only accept credit cards with online payment.)
* All fees must be paid at the time of form submission to be registered.
Registration will close when camp reaches capacity (48 campers). It's advisable to register early to ensure your child's spot, as registration filled within 2 hours last year.
If your child would like to be placed with a friend or sibling, please indicate this on the application, and we will do our best to accommodate the request.
Please note that camp staff will only administer ice and band-aids for minor injuries.
We eagerly anticipate welcoming all the children and hope they have a wonderful experience with us. For further information, feel free to email your questions or concerns to ccmg@uga.edu or call the Ag Center at (770) 386-8546.
